While the drought continues to worsen conditions in eastern Africa, there are things to celebrate. Rebecca, who has been in the Wadada Ministry since she was a small child, recently received poor grades. Her teacher recommended her for a physical exam, where it was determined that Rebecca suffered from hearing loss. Through the generous help of sponsors, the Wadada Ministry was able to provide Rebecca with hearing aids and enough batteries to get through the term. Rebecca now has hearing aids in both ears. She can hear, understand, and participate in her High School classes. We are so blessed to have amazing sponsors to give Rebecca the tools she needs to thrive!
