Food is scarce in the remote region of Magadi, near the Tanzania border. Children often do not get enough to eat. At our Children’s Rally, we are blessed to be able to provide these young people two meals a day. In the morning, kids eat a local porridge made of either rice or wheat. The second meal typically consists of rice, cabbage, potatoes and sometimes meat. Unfortunately wheat porridge is in short supply due to the war between Russian and Ukraine.
It warms our heart to watch the children attending the rally gathering together under the shade of trees to enjoy their meals. A big thank you to our sponsors who help make these rallies a reality, providing the funds necessary for meals, lodging and more!
