While we have been so excited to see the drought lesson in May, with rain come dampness. With dampness comes illness. Many of the children and Reverend Nelly became sick, requiring doctor’s visits, medications and even hospital visits for some children.
Hannah was in the hospital for more than a week with a swollen face, severe headache and sore throat. One small blessing that came out of her hospital stay was that we discovered that she needs glasses, which are being made presently. Our hope is that these glasses will help her to achieve more in school and in life.
Consider making a donation to Hope for the Hopeless today to help cover medical costs, including medication, hospital stays and eyeglasses for the children in the Wadada Program. Every dollar goes to supporting these wonderful girls and boys.
