We’re so excited to share some good news: the Wadada Children’s Ministry was blessed to welcome three new children this month. Though each were facing different hardships, fate convened and allowed Reverend Nelly to find sponsors to help all three.
One of seven children, Peninah (left) was being given away so her family could afford goats and cows to sell to pay for her siblings in high school. At the age of 12, she is in the fifth grade.
Thirteen-year-old David (right) is an orphan who recently lost his brother in a tragic hippo accident. He is in the sixth grade.
Taata, the youngest at 10, was rescued from a dysfunctional marriage. Standing in the middle, Taata, is in the third grade.
Thanks to our newest sponsors, these students are now a part of the Wadada Children’s House and enrolled in school with the hope of a brighter future. Please consider becoming a sponsor today – every dollar makes a difference in the lives of vulnerable children.
