As an extension of the extremely popular Children’s Rallies, we recently began Good News Clubs. These Good News Clubs target particularly disadvantaged areas, often called slums, to reach as many disadvantaged girls and boys as possible.

Child Evangelism Leader Mary conducts the Good News Clubs over five days during summer vacation, bringing food for the children and teaching them about the Bible. In these areas, food is scarce and many kids do not get enough food to eat, so these visits are a blessing.

Check out the photos Mary shared with us from her recent visit to the Mathare Orphanage in Nairobi, Kenya. While food would typically be prepared outside over a fire, the rain forced them to cook the rice inside.
