Goodbye 2024: Reflecting on a Year of Impact

Date posted: January 9, 2025

We are filled with gratitude for all that was accomplished through Hope for the Hopeless and the WADADA Children’s House during 2024. It was a year of growth, transformation, and God’s unwavering faithfulness.

Firstly, we want to take a moment to thank every one of our donors and supporters. Whether you were able to contribute financially or contribute spiritually, we are grateful for each of you.

Thanks to your support, this year we witnessed incredible moments of hope and transformation. Below is a small sample of the accomplishments that our supporters have made possible:

  • Thirty students attended high school; ten attended junior high school; and ten attended elementary school.
  • Seven students graduated from high school!
  • Nine students are presently enrolled in college or vocational training.
  • Twenty-two students from the remote village of Torosei had their high school fees paid so they could attend high school.
  • Reverend Nelly and our incredible team successfully hosted three Children’s Rallies in different parts of Maasai Land. Approximately 200 to 400 children attended each rally for a time of fun, fellowship and learning.
  • A team of Wadada teens embarked on a weeklong mission trip to Bokwo, Uganda in August. Through door-to-door evangelism, 162 souls prayed to receive Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior.
  • The WADADA House’s own Joseph Muzgue finished 6th place in all of Kenya for the country’s public speaking contest!

These accomplishments would not have been possible without your prayers, donations, and unwavering support. Every milestone we’ve reached is a testament to the collective effort of our donors, volunteers, and staff.

To continue to make an impact on the lives of the WADADA Students in 2025 and beyond, please consider donating today. Together, we can turn hope into lasting change.

With gratitude,

The Hope for the Hopeless Team
