We are thrilled to extend our heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to Joseph Mzungu as he embarks on his journey to Eldoret for a national speaking competition.
A remarkable leader among the WADADA Children’s House, church and his school, Joseph came from a difficult upbringing. Although it took time, Joseph found his way in the WADADA Children’s House. It was here that he discovered his passion for leadership and began to thrive.
Around the 5th or 6th grade, Joseph’s talent began to shine. Joseph participated in church plays, putting on dramas based on bible stories. He was a hit! It soon became clear that Joseph had a natural gift for communication.
In the hopes of becoming a pastor one day, Joseph turned his attention learning public speaking. Joseph took every opportunity he could to hone his skills. At the Olepolos Faith Evangelical Free Church, Joseph continued to practice and his confidence grew.
Joseph’s hard work and dedication paid off as he entered and won numerous local speaking competitions. Now, he takes on a new challenge as he travels to Eldoret to compete on a national level. Regardless of the outcome, we are immensely proud of Joseph.
Joseph embodies the mission of Hope for the Hopeless – to support and nurture children in need, helping them reach their full potential. His journey is a testament to the power of resilience, dedication, and education.
