While we are grateful for another successful Children’s Rally, this video emphasizes how much more help is needed in the region. Watch young women and girls raise their hands as Reverend Nelly asks how many want to go to school.
Consider that at this Rally alone, more than 850 children attended. Unfortunately, Hope for the Hopeless can only support about 65 girls and boys with our current funding levels.
The average annual cost for each child in the program is $1,800, which provides daily meals and fresh water, housing, tuition, medical care and basic essentials. Our goal is to provide vulnerable children with a safe place where they can receive basic care, education and guidance so they can lead healthy lives and become self-sufficient adults.
On this GivingTuesday, please consider making a donation to Hope for the Hopeless to support and uplift more girls and boys. Your generosity has the power to reshape the course of their futures, providing hope, joy and the tools necessary for a brighter tomorrow.
By supporting Hope for the Hopeless, you’re not just making a financial contribution; you’re advocating for the rights and well-being of vulnerable children. Although child marriage is illegal in Kenya, the practice is still common. Hope for the Hopeless rescues these girls and other children in perilous situations. Together, we can break the cycle of despair and empower these young lives with education, healthcare, and the chance to dream of a future full of possibilities.
